Working for the Wyoming Department of Transportation, EnTech was the lead engineer on the improvements to over 8,000 feet of North Main Street and various connecting side streets in the City of Sheridan between 1st Street and Fort Road. EnTech provided complete design of the street, water, sanitary sewer, storm drain and enhancements associated with these improvements. Development of storm water flows, based upon watershed areas, was an important aspect in designing the storm sewer system. EnTech also provided construction administration and observation of the water and sanitary sewer portions of this project.
Particular challenges associated with this project included:
- relatively flat grades for storm drainage systems, sanitary sewer systems and streets
- providing continued utility service throughout construction of this important business sector of the City
- meeting the funding requirements of the American Resource and Recovery Act (ARRA)
