Municipal |
| EnTech’s municipal
engineering capabilities include the civil and environmental engineering
services required to address the various infrastructure, environmental
and land use issues facing municipal governments. We excel in the
development of design solutions that can address the mandates of regulatory
agencies, enhance economic development, and improve the quality of urban
and suburban life that is now expected by the general populace. At
the same time, we act in a manner of always being budget conscious due
to the financial constraints imposed upon local government.
Our services have included acting as town engineer as well engineering consultant. They include the development of planning documents, design documents and construction administration. Representative projects in the municipal arena include the following: |
| City of Sheridan Landfill-Trench 8 Project, Sheridan, Wyoming. EnTech personnel were responsible for detailed design and construction administration for the latest expansion of the Sheridan landfill facility. The project area encompassed 10.4 acres, and included evaluation of seasonal groundwater data, site design to optimize available space and minimize environmental impacts, leachate collection system design, and construction administration. |

City of Sheridan Fort Road Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Improvements. EnTech has provided both design and construction administration services for the relocation of the City's principal sewer interceptors located adjacent to its wastewater treatment plant. This relocation is required due to improvements being made to the state highway which traverses next to the plant. |
| Sheridan Streets, Coffeen Ave. Bridge Underpass, for the Wyoming Department of Transportation, Sheridan Wyoming. This project involved design of a handicap-accessible multi-use pathway under a bridge structure located on the busiest urban arterial in Wyoming. Extensive coordination with local special interest groups, City of Sheridan personnel, and the US Army Corps of Engineers was required for successful completion of this project. Included in the services provided were daily site inspections, coordination with owner and contractor, and project closeout. |

Town of Dayton Water System Improvements, Dayton, Wyoming. Over the last three years, EnTech has worked with the Town of Dayton to perform improvements to the Town’s water system, which has been plagued by poor water pressure in certain parts of the town. Approximately 17,000 lineal feet of 8”, 10” and 12” water mains are currently being installed by a contractor whose work is being overseen by EnTech. Grant monies from the USDA’s Rural Utilities Service and State of Wyoming Water Development Commission are major funding sources for the project. EnTech, through its association with a local geological consultant, has also recently administered development of a 2600-foot deep water well constructed to the Madison Formation. After connection, this well will augment the Town’s existing surface water source. |
|
Town Engineer for Ranchester, Wyoming since 1989. EnTech personnel have been involved in all aspects of municipal engineering, including street reconstruction and maintenance, utility maintenance, water and wastewater treatment, budgeting, and survey projects for the Town. Traditional duties include assistance with special improvement district formation, grant applications, and close coordination with elected officials and staff. |

Shadow Wood Subdivision of Sheridan County, Wyoming. EnTech personnel were responsible for the design of this 31-lot rural subdivision in the area of Story, Wyoming. Particular attention was paid to minimization of road grades in this environmentally sensitive area wherever possible to allow for easier access and reduced drainage erosion. |
| Landfill Equipment Maintenance Facility for City of Sheridan, Wyoming. EnTech provided design and construction administration for an equipment maintenance facility at the City’s landfill. The facility allowed the City to maintain equipment at an indoor location vs. having to perform these maintenance activities outside and subject to the elements. | ![]() |
